General & Administrative Rules
- Discord & In-Game Identification: Drivers must use their real names or official gamer tags consistently across the league platform (such as SimGrid) and Discord.
- Mandatory Briefings: Drivers must attend or read pre-race driver briefings before every event.
- Attendance & Withdrawal: Drivers must formally withdraw ahead of time as a courtesy.
- Hardware & Connection: A stable wired internet connection is usually required, with maximum ping limits (often under 200ms) and no Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Qualifying Rules
- Out-Lap/In-Lap Courtesy: Drivers on slow laps must yield the racing line and not impede anyone on a flying lap.
- Traffic Management: Maintain a safe 2-to-3-second gap from the car ahead during qualifying runs.
- Blue Flags: Drivers must yield to a car on a current valid lap.
Racing & Overtaking Etiquette
- Leave Racing Room: Overtaking drivers must establish significant overlap before turn-in, and both cars must leave at least one car’s width of space side-by-side.
- One Move Rule: The defending car is typically allowed only one defensive direction change or weaving motion on a straight.
- No Dive-Bombing: Forcing your car into a late, unsafe lunge where contact is inevitable is strictly forbidden.
- Spin & Rejoin Protocol: Drivers who spin must hold their brakes firmly to prevent rolling backward into traffic, and rejoin the track only when it is completely safe.
- Blue Flags: Lapped drivers must facilitate faster cars safely by lifting or yielding on a straight without erratic moves.
Penalties & Enforcement
- Incident Reporting: Post-race replay reviews or Discord ticket systems allow drivers to report rule-breakers within a set window (24 to 48 hours).
- Penalty Tiers: Punishments scale from verbal warnings and time penalties to grid drops, pit-lane starts, race bans, or full-season disqualifications.
- Incident Limit (Inc-Limit): Automated game systems or race control may issue drive-through or disqualification black flags if a driver exceeds the maximum contact/off-track point limit.
